She stood up for the two of you, which is more than you did for her.

No, she won't apologize to him.

And for the record, chief, somebody had to stand up for that little girl,

and I make no apologies for that.

I know I was out of line, and I know I can't possibly imagine what you've been through.

But I also know that this cannot be your daughter's story that she shot her dad 17 times to protect her mom,

and you went back to him.

You have to change her story while you still have a chance, for both of you.
